Costa Rica is not a long direct flight from Houston, Atlanta, or Miami so whether you can fly directly or need to connect to a city that flies directly the trip will be more than worth it as this is a vacation you will remember for a lifetime. Also USA and Canadian citizens do not need a Visa to come to Costa Rica…just a valid passport (please check/verify with your embassy for exact rules).
